The Melodrama song "Green Light" by Lorde was intended to be screamed, especially in the presence of tens of thousands of people who are willing to come for their belongings but are unable to let go. At this year's Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary, the singer stepped up the intensity of her performance of the song with a special guest appearance from Caroline Polachek, another master of lyrical drama.

At the start of the song, Polachek, who was also scheduled to perform at the five-day event, appeared to assist Lorde. The two danced and bounced around the stage like best friends helping one another through a breakup while using music and dancing as the ultimate distractions. The show served as a suitable capstone to Lorde's 16-song set.

The unreleased song "Silver Moon," which Lorde debuted last week at the UK's Boardmasters Festival, was also performed for the audience at the Sziget Festival. Some hoped she was making a comeback from the breezy beach atmosphere that characterized her last album, 2021's Solar Power, but the song reminded listeners of the images and sounds that marked the Melodrama phase in 2017.
