According to The Institute for the Study of War, Russia has moved some of its most elite forces to the Zaporizhzhia region in an effort to prevent Ukrainian troops from retaking the territory.

As a hint that Russia is short on military reserves, Kremlin forces have been sent from the Kreminna area in Luhansk Oblast to the Robotyne area in western Zaporizhia Oblast.

Heavy fighting has been going on in Robotyne, with Ukrainian forces making "tactically significant gains" lately.

Ukrainian and Western officials claim that although Kyiv has not yet made a breakthrough, its forces may have managed to get past Russia's staunchest defenses in the region.

Analysts claim that Prigozhin's death marks a "turning point in the war"
According to commentators, the "assassination" of the Wagner chief could mark a turning point in the conflict as Ukraine looks to take advantage of the "chaos" inside the Kremlin.

As Russia's military chain is left "fragile and upset" by the occurrence, Ambassador Bill Taylor, vice president for Russia and Europe at the US Institute of Peace, stated on Sunday on the BBC Today Programme that the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin might lead to a strategic shift.

While doing so, the Ukrainian Army is "encouraged" by the low morale among its leadership as it uses the chaos in Russia to make "gradual, grinding, difficult progress in the counter-offensive" while losing fighters.

On Wednesday, Mr. Prigozhin perished in a plane crash close to Moscow causing the incident to be blamed on a missile or bomb.

Switzerland forbids the shipment of Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine, so they are stored in the open.
Following a blockade by Switzerland, around 100 Leopard 1 tanks are being kept in the open in Italy.

Due to Switzerland's policy of neutrality, the sale of the tanks, which belonged to the Swiss corporation RUAG, was rejected. The tanks were intended to be repaired and transported to Ukraine.

The tanks have been kept in a depot close to Gorizia, northeastern Italy, according to RSI pictures, where they can be seen covered in green tarpaulin since 2017.

According to a contract that RSI was able to get, RUAG intended to sell them to Rheinmetall, a German arms firm.

Switzerland refused to buy tanks because of its neutrality policy.

Ukraine is looking into the three pilots' fatal accident.
In the wake of a mid-air collision between two jets in the country's western region that claimed the lives of three pilots, Ukrainian authorities have opened an inquiry.

On Sunday, Yuri Ihnat, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian air force, told Ukrainian television that it wasn't immediately obvious how long the investigation would go.

Two L-39 training military aircraft collided on Friday during a combat operation over western Zhytomyr, Ukraine, according to the air force's Telegram feed.

Three pilots perished, including Andriy Pilshchykov, a well-known pilot known by the moniker "Juice" and a vocal supporter of Ukraine acquiring F-16 fighter jets.

Viacheslav Minka and Serhiy Prokazin were the other two pilots killed in the collision, according to information released on Sunday by Ukraine's Vasilkiv tactical aviation unit.
